Adobe - Creative Cloud - Error: You don't have access to manage apps"

You may encounter the below error message when using Adobe Creative Cloud.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Sign out of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App
  2. Navigate to the following folder
    1. /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/
  3. Move the ServiceConfig.xml file to the desktop
  4. Open ServiceConfig.xml in Textedit
  5. Change any references to false to true. An example is
    1. From: <panel><name>AppsPanel</name><visible>false</visible></panel>
    2. To: <panel><name>AppsPanel</name><visible>true</visible></panel>
  6. Save the file.
  7. Move the file back to the Configs file that was navigated to in Step 2
  8. If prompted, enter your username and password
  9. Restart your device
  10. Open Creative Cloud and sign in. You should have access to the required applications.
